In an attempt to help Holly with a momentary case of art block and inspired by Ara Karaath's merging artwork, and I decided to do a merging pic of our own. I've done it a couple of times with other artists in OC, but this is by far the best merge pic I've ever done with someone. This is the best joint pic with Holly as well! I am extremely happy with this and, for the very first time, I actually highlighted instead of just shaded! o.o Holly helped me out with that and she believes I did perfect on my first try. Doing a merge pic like this is a fun challenge. Take into consideration that you're drawing a form with two heads. You have to draw the body just right to make it look right, adjust the width of the shoulders and make sure the body matches. We considered wearing cloths in the pic, but I knew that would just have people asking, "Did the cloths merge or did you guys merge first and then put on cloths?" I thought it would be a little distracting, like that, and figured the whole point was to see our merged bodies, not cover anything up. So, we found a way to do things tastefully. I drew a sheath, using minimal detail, and make sure no member was visible. So, we consider the pic to be "clean." This is not porn by any means. It should be okay to post here on DA.
