Okay, today's the day I start pulling all my artwork down. I hope you guys managed to save anything you wanted. One by one, throughout the day, it's all coming down.

In addition to FA, I've also started work on having my own website again. I'll post a new journal when that's up and running and delete the rest of the journals. My preferred journal of choice is still LiveJournal. I'll also look into Twitter and RSS feeds so you guys can continue to get the same kind of "update" for when I have new artwork posted. Otherwise, please bookmark the lancefoxx.com site when it becomes available.

To all the watchers and friends, it's been fun sharing artwork on here. I am by no means leaving anyone behind. I will continue to watch people here and occasionally comment. I am not leaving any sort of fandom. That is not what this is about. I will continue to be "Were," "Furry," and an artist.

All I am doing is taking content off DA because of my grievances with its administration.

To the DA admin, none of you will probably ever read this journal, and that's part of the problem. You don't care. You read my notes, only because you had to, and you treated my concerns as no big deal. They were a much bigger deal to me. Because you ignored certain issues that soon became detrimental to me staying here, you gave me the impression that all you cared about is financing your website and that an individual user is not worth caring for. For that, I am removing all content so that even with a "free" account, I will no longer be just another user that brings you web traffic.

I was being lazy all this time whole time. I should have been using my own website, especially since I am already paying for my own domain name. I just enjoyed the art community so much here that I didn't see the need right away. I trusted DA to manage things the way I thought they were supposed to. At the very least, I expected them to be able to stick to their own Terms of Service and correct issues that should have been addressed properly. At least with my own website, I can have the kind of control of the content I've been seeking and I will be able to handle things as I see fit. No more being lazy. It's time to bring [link] back...

Anyways... sorry to do this, guys, but... it's time for the artwork to go. It'll still be on the web and easy to find, but I will no longer be posting the artwork here on DA.
